Choral music with flair.
Below are selections and clips from choral arrangements/compositions commissioned by various groups. Tracks are a mix of full studio recordings, live recordings, and multitrack demos provided as part of the commission package.
The Headless Horseman
One of my top-streamed releases of all time, this arrangement of “The Headless Horseman” lays heavily into the jazz source, but breaks it up with sections of “Swingle Singers”-esque vocal orchestration. This debut recording features Christopher Keough on the lead vocals.
I’ve Never Been in Love Before
A delve into barbershop ballad writing, this was a commissioned arrangement for a quartet. Below is the demo recording I produced for their learning tracks sync’d to footage of me during the recording session.
Return to Pooh Corner
The debut recording of J.M.Voices, this song has proven to be a classic and is still regularly performed by pickup choirs and various ensembles. The recording still reaches 25K+ streams on various streaming platforms monthly, after the group has been dissolved for several years.
Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
Part of a passion project, this recording was done with all vocalists in their own spaces, on their own equipment, and all recorded and produced in under 48 hours with no budget.
Wishes!
An a cappella cover of the iconic Disney fireworks spectacular theme, this is the demo recording given to the vocalists who performed the live debut for a private event. The chart never goes beyond eight vocalists in order to remain in the budget I was given.
